The Two Sides of Power
The name YANUS is derived from Janus, the Roman god with two faces: one looking forward, one looking back. For us, this means: one eye on what is happening in plain sight, and one eye on what remains hidden.
Our main focus is the relationship between Europe and China—economically, technologically, and politically. But the two sides of power do not end at this border. Where other media look away, we look closely: at regions of the world that are too rarely covered, and at issues that get lost amid the big headlines.
