Vienna, April 8, 2026. The energy crisis is creating winners and losers. The losers are clear: consumers, commuters, and companies with high energy needs. The winners are less visible, but policymakers are just beginning to take notice of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Three debates simultaneously<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In Germany, politicians are calling for a cap on gas prices. SPD Parliamentary Secretary Dirk Wiese is pushing for a cap on gas prices and accuses Economy Minister Reiche of inaction.
