Alexej Smirnow, ehemaliger Chef der Region Kursk, hatte von Baufirmen Schmiergelder kassiert &#8211; auch f\u00fcr Verteidigungsanlagen an der Grenze zur Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Fall ist symptomatisch. Korruption ist kein Randph\u00e4nomen des russischen Systems &#8211; sie ist sein Fundament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Geld ohne Grenzen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seit 2022 hat die EU Sanktionen gegen russische Oligarchen und Staatsunternehmen verh\u00e4ngt. Yachten wurden beschlagnahmt, Konten eingefroren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Doch das Geld findet Wege. \u00dcber Briefkastenfirmen in Zypern, Malta, Luxemburg. \u00dcber Immobilien in Wien, Berlin, London. \u00dcber Kryptow\u00e4hrungen und Zwischenh\u00e4ndler in Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Europ\u00e4ische Banken haben russisches Kapital \u00fcber Jahrzehnte willkommen gehei\u00dfen. Der Kurswechsel<br>seit 2022 ist real &#8211; aber unvollst\u00e4ndig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Austria in Focus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wien war lange bekannt als &#8222;Ost-West-Drehscheibe&#8220; &#8211; auch f\u00fcr Geld. \u00d6sterreichische Banken hatten<br>\u00fcberdurchschnittlich starke Verbindungen zu russischen Finanzstrukturen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wie viel russisches Kapital noch immer durch \u00f6sterreichische Strukturen flie\u00dft &#8211; das ist eine Frage, die YANUS weiter verfolgen wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Two Sides of Power<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sanktionen sind das eine.
