Xingji Meizu selbst entstand 2022, als der chinesische Smartphone-Hersteller Meizu vom Elektroautobauer Geely \u00fcbernommen wurde \u2013 jenem Konzern, der auch hinter ECARX steht. Geely-Gr\u00fcnder Li Shufu h\u00e4lt \u00fcber verschiedene Beteiligungsstrukturen Anteile an beiden Unternehmen. De facto konsolidiert der Geely-Kosmos damit seine Softwareaktivit\u00e4ten f\u00fcr vernetzte Fahrzeuge unter einem Dach. ECARX, 2017 gegr\u00fcndet und seit 2022 an der Nasdaq gelistet, beliefert bereits Automarken wie Volvo, Polestar und Lotus \u2013 allesamt Teil des Geely-Imperiums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hoher Preis, ungewisse Rendite<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit 266 Millionen Dollar zahlt ECARX einen stolzen Preis f\u00fcr eine Technologie, die sich im hart umk\u00e4mpften Markt f\u00fcr Fahrzeug-Betriebssysteme erst noch beweisen muss. Flyme Auto konkurriert mit etablierten Playern wie Huaweis HarmonyOS, das bereits in Fahrzeugen von AITO und anderen Herstellern l\u00e4uft, sowie mit Baidu Apollo und den propriet\u00e4ren Systemen von BYD und Xiaomi. Der chinesische Markt f\u00fcr intelligente Cockpit-Systeme soll laut Analysten von CIC bis 2027 auf \u00fcber 80 Milliarden Yuan anwachsen \u2013 ein Kuchen, um den sich dutzende Anbieter streiten. Ob ECARX mit der Flyme-\u00dcbernahme einen technologischen Vorsprung erkauft oder f\u00fcr eine \u00fcberbewertete Softwarebasis zu viel bezahlt, wird sich an den Lizenzvertr\u00e4gen der kommenden Jahre messen lassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Geopolitische Dimension im Wettrennen ums Auto<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Konsolidierung zeigt, wie entschlossen chinesische Konzerne die Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette vom Chip bis zur Benutzeroberfl\u00e4che kontrollieren wollen. ECARX entwickelt nicht nur Software, sondern auch Hardware \u2013 die hauseigenen Antora-Chips basieren auf ARM-Architektur und werden bei TSMC gefertigt.
