The latest escalation: The Viennese city magazine Falter published internal documents from the inner circle of the suspended ORF General Director \u2013 a move considered a taboo breaking in the industry.<\/p>\n
At least half a dozen well-known law firms are now involved in the case. The ORF itself is engaging external legal counsel, Wei\u00dfmann has his own team, and individual foundation board members are also being legally represented. The fee notes are likely already in the six-figure range \u2013 ultimately paid for with public fees or private reserves.<\/p>\n
Remarkable is the dual role of some legal representatives. They not only act as classic lawyers but also orchestrate the accompanying media narrative.
